Mentorship and advisory
Sometimes you just need another marketer in the room.
Marketing decisions are often made by whoever happens to be closest to them. That works until the decision matters and there’s nobody around who has made it before.
This is time with someone who has. Bring the campaign that isn’t working, the plan you’re unsure about, the team situation you can’t quite name, or the decision you keep circling.
Marketing roles can be surprisingly solitary.
Especially in the situations where a second opinion would be worth the most.
- You’re the only marketer, or the most senior one.
- You’ve moved into leadership and are learning it in public.
- Your manager isn’t a marketer and can’t pressure-test the call.
- You’re responsible for work you haven’t done before.
- You want to grow without copying somebody else’s career.
- You need to explain marketing to executives who see it as a cost.
- You own the business and are making marketing decisions without another senior marketer nearby.

- What comes next
This isn’t a course.
There’s no curriculum and no module you have to get through before we reach the thing you actually came with.
Bring the messy version. The campaign that isn’t working, the presentation you’re nervous about, the team problem you can’t quite name, the decision you keep circling back to.
You don’t need to turn your problem into a lesson before we can talk about it.
How it works
- Bring the real problem.
- Talk it through properly.
- Pressure-test the options.
- Leave with a clearer decision, or a next step.
Some people book one session about one decision. Others keep a standing slot while they settle into a new role. Both are fine, and you don’t have to know which you want before getting in touch.
This is probably a fit if…
- You’re growing into a marketing leadership role.
- You’re the only marketer, or the most senior one on your team.
- You want feedback from someone who has actually led marketing.
- You want a sounding board without commissioning a whole project.
- You run a business and want an experienced marketing opinion without a full consulting engagement.
- You’d rather be challenged than agreed with.
- You’re weighing a career or leadership decision and want a view from someone who has made similar ones.
Not therapy, not life coaching, and not a résumé service. I’m also not doing the work for you: if the business needs someone hands-on inside it, that’s consulting or fractional leadership instead.
From people I’ve worked with
I’ve made time for interns, mentees and people early in their careers for as long as I’ve been leading marketing, because someone trusted me with real work before I had the experience to prove I could do it.
“Amber is easily one of the best mentors I have ever learned from.”

“I had the fantastic opportunity to observe her kindness, effective communication, and immense knowledge of the marketing realm.”

I want people to leave more capable than when we started.

Tell me roughly what it is. If mentorship is the wrong shape for it, I’ll say so and point you at whatever isn’t.
