What this site collects

Two forms, and nothing else. The contact form on the About page asks for your name, your email address, what you are working on, and optionally what brought you here. The course updates form asks for an email address only. Both are handled by Netlify Forms, which stores the submissions so I can read them.

The site sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising trackers, and does not store anything in your browser.

What happens automatically

The site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so displaying a page makes a request to Google that reveals your IP address to them. If you would rather avoid that, most browsers can be set to block third-party font requests.

What I do with it

I use what you send to reply to you. If you ask for course updates, I use your email address to tell you when a course is ready. I do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

Who else can see it

Netlify, as the host and form processor. Google, insofar as loading fonts reveals your IP address. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.

How long it is kept

Contact form submissions are kept while a conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you get back in touch. Course update addresses are kept until you ask to come off the list.

What you can ask for

Email amberfugedi@gmail.com and I will tell you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. No particular form of words is needed. If you are on the course updates list, asking to come off it is enough.

Children

This site is for people running or working in businesses. It is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this changes, the date at the top changes with it.
